1" PVC x 1" PVC x 1" CTS Sharkbite Transition Slip Tee

This item allows you to transition from PVC to PEX. The PVC end of this product can not be used on PEX. Note: Underground burial of SharkBite brass fittings requires that the fitting be wrapped using silicone wrap (25406-CASH-ACME). The SharkBite® PVC Transition Slip Tee allows you to add a line into your existing plumbing system while converting from Copper (CTS) pipe to PVC pipe. The slip feature allows you to cut into an existing Copper Tube Size Copper, PEX, PE-RT, or CPVC pipe and run out PVC Sch. 40, 80, or 120 from the Tee. The white collar center connection fits Sch. 40, 80, 120 PVC and also can be used on IPS CPVC Sch. 40 and 80 pipes. The Mustard collar ends fit CTS Copper, PEX, CPVC or PE-RT pipe. The Slip feature allows up to 2" of Copper to be removed from a rigid pipe installation. Simply insert the slip coupling on to the pipe and using the SharkBite demount clip to slip the fitting back onto the other end of pipe completing the connection. Note: Can only be used on copper and CPVC pipe.
